SYMPTOMS
========
Applications created with Visual Basic 3.0 cause general protection
(GP) faults on RISC-based computers.
CAUSE
=====
The GP faults are caused by a problem in the Visual Basic 3.0 run-time
dynamic link library (DLL) file. This problem occurs only in standard
mode in Windows 3.1 and in Windows NT on RISC-based computers.
RESOLUTION
==========
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the VBRUN300.DLL file.
To correct this problem, obtain an updated version of VBRUN300.DLL
from the MSBASIC CompuServe forum.
